About Us
In 1996, the Oriole Park Orioles were formed and began their inaugural season in the CMBA. After three lackluster seasons, the team was taken over by a new manager/coach, Bryan Delia.

Bryan abruptly changed the name of the team from the Orioles to the Cubs, signaling a fresh start for the squad. Bryan brought with him a dedication to baseball and the team, and the fire for competitive baseball. He has shown his dedication to the Cubs by remaining the GM of the club since taking over in mid 1998. Bryan introduced a strict “team-player” approach and expects no less from his players.
There are no selfish players remaining on the team, which has contributed to the overall sense of family. On the other hand, as close as the players all are, the Cubs are about competitive baseball.

The team’s philosophy is: everyone has something to contribute and everyone is responsible for a win or loss, not any single player; this is a team game. In Bryan’s first full year implementing his managerial style, the Cubs improved on their win total from the previous year in the 1999 season. They then more than doubled their win total in 2000, which included a team record 17 straight wins, culminating in a CMBA championship berth. The Cinderella season didn’t have a happy ending though, as the Cubs fell in the championship series.

Since Bryan has taken over, the Cubs have amassed a 108-93 record, with the only real losing season (5-22) coming in 2004, a re-tooling year for the Cubs. If not for that disastrous season, that record would be 105-71, a much more accurate figure of Bryan’s success. Now, in 2006, the Cubs aspire to return to the promised land with full intentions of capturing the team’s elusive first title. We are always open to add new players to our roster.
